Our mission is to awaken communities to their local talent, as well as, create opportunities for artists to showcase and sell their creations. Community economies benefit through the showcasing of their local artists' unique original fine art works. Local artisans benefit through art exhibits and sales, as well as, helping expand their art career.
A village is not just a location on a map, nor is art just a picture on a wall. Art in the Village is a group of individuals with unique artistic talents and a vision of art that grasps the future.
The second annual show of the Art in the Village 2008 Holiday Show and Sale is located at the beautiful Lapeer Country Club. November 29 and 30th, 2008.
That's Thanksgiving Weekend! Avoid the crowd madness at the mall and shop unique this year!
Hours are Saturday 10am to 6 pm. Sunday 12 pm to 5 pm.
FREE DEMONSTRATIONS! See the artists working on their art, live and up close - ask questions, participate!
FREE GIFTS! A small token will be given to the first 100 visitors!
FREE REFRESHMENTS! The refreshment at the Art in the Village Show and Sale will be homemade Christmas cookies and coffee.
FREE ADMISSION! Avoid the crowds at the mall, avoid the parking lots and expressways, avoid Made In China, avoid the unusal holiday stress!
